Mini golf Miami options for both indoor and outdoor putt putt, including Puttery and Palmetto mini golf

Although there aren’t as many options for mini golf Miami as I would think, there are three great mini golf courses, two indoor and one outdoor, all which offer a unique experience within easy reach of Miami.

My family and I are big mini golfers, and I know there are plenty of others who enjoy a round of mini golf on vacation, so I put together this up-to-date guide on the best places to play for whenever we find ourselves in Miami, or for fellow travelers and locals too!

Short Answer:

The two best options for mini golf Miami are the indoor courses in my opinion, so you can escape the Miami heat! Putt Shack and Puttery Miami are the two indoor places to get your mini golf game on. Putt Shack offers tech-infused 9-hole courses for all ages before 8:00pm, where it then turns into an 18+ mini golf, making it the best option for families. Puttery is 21+ always, making it the best choice for couples, offering immersive and themed 9-hole courses. Each offer a food and drink menu, so you can sip on cocktails while you play and grab some food in between rounds.

The outdoor option for mini golf Miami is Palmetto Mini Golf, which is more of your classic mini golf experience. You’ll find Palmetto Mini Golf in Palmetto Estates, FL, which is a bit South of Miami, where they have an 18-hole outdoor course surrounded by lush greenery, caves and a waterfall.

Long Answer: Where to Play

Best Indoor Mini Golf Miami For Couples : Puttery

You can’t help but have a blast at Puttery Miami! This is one of two options for indoor mini golf Miami, featuring three immersive courses and a great craft cocktail menu that you can take with you while you play. It’s located in the Wynwood Walls area of Miami.

I chose this course as the best course for couples in the area, because it’s 21+ so you won’t have kids running around everywhere haha, and each hole is pretty secluded and private in terms of how mini golf usually goes. Outside of couples, this place makes for a great outing for any over 21+ including groups, families or even going solo.

Puttery offers immersive mini golf and this Miami location has three courses that range from easy to hard: the Lodge, the Library and the hardest being the Rooftop, which is complete with the sound of wind and has a Miami vibe. This was our favorite course personally, so make sure to do that one! With their all you can golf ticket you can play each round as many times as you’d like.

They have a big lounge and dining room area for you to eat at or just hangout in between rounds. I highly recommend the cajun pasta! Read my complete Puttery Miami review for more info on this unique place.

Best Indoor Putt Putt In Miami For Families : Puttshack Miami

Putt Shack is the area’s other option for indoor mini golf Miami, and they offer a tech-infused and unique mini golfing experience for all ages before 8:00pm in the Brickell shopping center. This means it’s the perfect outing for families on a hot or rainy day, especially if you have kids that need to let some of their energy out!

After 8:00pm it’s 18+, so you’ll get more of a bar experience which is great for couples and friend groups. They offer a craft cocktail list and food items like pizza and potstickers.

Best Indoor Mini Golf : Palmetto Mini Golf

Palmetto Mini Golf is a little South of Miami in Palmetto Estates and features water features, caves and lots of greenery. The course is a little on the small side but you can golf for an affordable price here and have fun with the whole family. The lush plants, trees and caves do provide some shade but make sure to put sunscreen on if you’re going during the day.

They also have a full Par-70 Championship Miami golf course on the property, as well as a restaurant and pub where you can grab a drink and bite to eat after you play.
